Submission Terms
Terms and Conditions for Submitting Written Works
By submitting written works (“Submission(s)”) to Haiku Confessions (the “Project”), you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Grant of Rights
You hereby grant Daniel Berg a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, publicly display, and create derivative works from your Submission(s) in any manner, medium, or form, whether now known or hereafter devised, for any purpose, including but not limited to commercial purposes, advertising, and promotional materials.
2. Waiver of Credit
You agree that Daniel Berg is under no obligation to provide attribution or credit to you in connection with the use of your Submission(s).
3. Originality and Ownership
You warrant and represent that:
• The Submission(s) are your original work.
• The Submission(s) do not infringe upon any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of any third party.
• You have the full right and authority to grant the rights described in these terms.
4. Irrevocability
Once submitted, your agreement to these terms cannot be revoked. Daniel Berg will retain all granted rights to your Submission(s) in perpetuity.
5. No Compensation
You acknowledge and agree that you will not receive any compensation, monetary or otherwise, for the use of your Submission(s).
6. Use of Submission
Daniel Berg has sole discretion over how and whether to use your Submission(s). You understand that your work may be used in modified or unmodified forms and combined with other content.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Daniel Berg, its affiliates, and representatives from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from or related to the use of your Submission(s) as provided herein.
8. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the UK, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
By submitting your written work, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, do not submit any works to Daniel Berg
